What a Party!

Invitations were emailed, people enthusiastically responded, the attendance record was broken… What an exciting party it was, as you can see in the painting above (on loan from Tantillo-Blosser Collection).

The trusted progressive media reported the event:

Happy Birthday Terry Bernardo! Tuesday night’s party was held at the Hillside Manor in Kingston and attended by friends and fellow politicos from across the county with a special appearance by State Senator John Bonacic.

This is the camaraderie that I thought was long gone. People from all philosophies were mixin it up while eating birthday cake. The drinks didn’t hurt either.

C’mon – you’d say – it’s a birthday party from February… yesterday’s news!
Damn right it’s yesterday’s news. You see, yesterday was the deadline for filing the July Financial Disclosure Report with the New York State Board of Elections. For the first time in years, Terry Bernardo filed her report on time – after paying $500 fines, she got religion!

Look at the guest-n-donor list below. If you see something worth a comment, don’t be shy!

Mary’s Little Lamb’s is Legislator Mary Wawro’s daycare business. If you recall she had to resign as Chair of the Social Services Committee because the business is funded through a contract with UC DSS. How can her taxpayer funded business write a check for a Bernardo fundraiser?

No real surprises here. But now I know what businesses to avoid. If they support Bernardo, they are no one I want to do business with.

What an absolute shocker — the donor list reflects everyone who has benefited from Madam Chair’s ascension. Isn’t Edward Mance married to Lisa, who was appointed to Nettie Tomshaw’s position once Terry rid her office of the pesky professional? Membership to Club Bernardo certainly has its rewards.

I’m shocked to see Marlene Dunn’s name on this list. What’s going on?

Clearly a SECOND string guest list!

I understand that there is kind of an unwritten rule that you should go to a birthday party in honor of your boss – but to go to her birthday party BEFORE you are even hired… hmmmm….

There must be some confusion – this list is obviously the list of cronies that are eligible for any real or perceived personnel vacancies not a list of Bernardo financial donors… you must be confused… they could not be one and the same – or could they?

So I see Steve Kelly in the picture, but not on the list of donors.

7:35 AM — Filing on time is not the same as filing honestly.
