On the way to the pro-gun rally in Albany, the buses that started the trip at Accord Fire House made a ten minutes pick up stop at Macy’s parking lot in the Hudson Valley Mall. Ten minutes were more than enough for Terry Bernardo to give a soap box performance. Probably in the spirit of non-partisanship touted in her 2012 inaugural speech, she decided that everybody’s got to go – unless they subscribe to her borrowed views.
The most disgusting move – against Legislator Kenneth Wishnick (D-New Paltz) – started with asking the mini-crowd “Did you read Wishnick’s letter in yesterday’s Freeman?” and continued with “anyone here from New Paltz?” “find another candidate!” and “he’s got to go.” Funny, isn’t it, considering that Wishnick was her most valuable ally just a few weeks back. All legislators in cahoots with Bernardo should pay attention.

Just one word can be said.
SAD
Dear Terry, The Ulster County Democratic Committee thanks you from the bottom of their hearts. You go girl.
She will wonder why no one will trust her in the future. This is exactly why. She is your friend one day and publicly ridicules you the next. Both her and her husband lack integrity and are immoral narcissists.
It is WAY PAST time she goes !!!!
Can anyone explain the costume change?
10:46, actors carry more costumes when they take the show on the road. Either that or this explanation in her own words:
“I’ll put it in a woman’s terms,” Terry Bernardo said. “You wouldn’t want to pass a law that makes it illegal just for cosmetic reasons. I can look one way when I come to work and I throw on a suit and some makeup and fix my hair and I look another way when I wake up in the morning but you wouldn’t want to pass a law saying that just because I looked that way in the morning that was problematic.” (Freeman)
Anybody else notice something odd about these photos. Not a single smile or sense of excitement from anybody in the crowd. None. You’d think there might be what with all that emotional rhetoric being put out there. More a look of “Huh?” instead.
Possible explanation of the “huh” look on their faces: she was repeating her quote from the Freeman or came up with another bernadoism.
Ken Wishnick is one ethically-challenged man.
He should never have been elected in the first place.
New Paltz Dems should have run Dan Torres but he was to be no one’s puppet like Kenny boy is.
Zimet’s hand picked successor and the Kool aid drinkers drank him right up.
Then he got the I line and a truly qualified candidate, Les Kalmus, was lost to the Legislature.
Hope they’re all happy now.
Wishnick is a sour puppy dog and a disgrace to our District.
He is all yours.

Poor Butch Denner just can’t let go of his hateful, nasty, smearing ways. I wonder if he even met Legislator Wishnick. Ken is one of the most bright and ethical leaders to hold the post. He might not have won if Butch didn’t engage in such slanderous smear tactics, like the above, that motivated so many people to come out and vote Wishnick! My bet is that Wishnick is a bit concerned that Denner was kicked out as New Paltz Republican Boss.
Butch is right on the money and Wishnick is now feeling the Bernardo Wrath firsthand. Now we love you, now we don’t. So it is for Bernardo friends then un-friends. There are plenty of them out there, just ask around.
