You people are so stupid! It’s no wonder Michailescu, Marinesco and Yess are such pathetic losers. You don’t know anything about anything especially politics. Dunn won’t run against Terry. What a stupid idea. If he runs, it’ll be because Terry has decided not to run.
You want to know why Dunn will run? To make sure Manu can’t win. Face it losers. Nobody in power wants your lamebrain loudmouth to win any election. So if Terry runs for something else and doesn’t run for reelection they will run Troy Dunn to make sure Manu gets her ass kicked.
If you idiots think Dunn will run against Terry you need to have your weak little brains examined. Thanks for giving publicity to the guy who will crush Manu if Terry doesn’t run.
Wow! Curious what triggered Bernardo’s comment? This little paragraph I published under the headline Rumor has it:
- People are starting to toss their hats in the ring. Manuela Michailescu officially announced her run in District 21 (Rochester and East Wawarsing). Now there is a lot of buzz around Troy Dunn, who is expected to enter – rather sooner than later – the county legislative race, in the same district. According to a top level Ulster GOP leader, this is a 90% done deal. Both Troy’s parents served in the Ulster County Legislature.
At the time it was just a rumor, phoned in by the Smoke & Mirrors, Inc. Hugh Reynolds received the same tip and he swallowed the hook, line and sinker:

Many Republicans are now fondly recalling former 10-term legislator Vinnie Dunn and wife Marlene, who served a few terms after his death. Rumor or not, it appears that Troy Dunn is being pushed to run against Terry Bernardo. You see, he is very, very electable: his daddy was a legislator, his brother – Randy Hornbeck – served on the Town Board and is still serving for something… More pros? Best buddy with O’Halloran and Bernardos. Cons? Last May he chose not to run for the school board, citing lack of involvement and no knowledge of town’s issues.
Remember Bernardo’s rant? “Troy Dunn won’t run against Terry. What a stupid idea. If he runs, it’ll be because Terry has decided not to run.” Bear with me along this Trojan candidate script: Troy runs, beats Terry in the Republican primary, Terry runs on her husband’s line, Troy excuses himself… Poof! Terry has no challenger in the general election, gets “elected” by default, “serves” the first year, then runs for the State Senate. Call me crazy, but the plan is in progress. You really are nuts, aren’t you? I mean, you need a doctor, medication and electroshock therapy if you really think Manu is ever going to be a county legislator. The woman is dumb as a box of pasta! Seriously, Yanni, do you think Ohalloran is going to back your idiot wife? He’s going to promote Troy Dunn and either Dunn or Terry Bernardo are going to win the election. Manu is not going to be nominated by the republicans or the conservatives or the independents. She can’t win those nominations in a primary either. There is no way the democrats are backing her because your disgusting behavior has made them all hate you two. Do you think Robin Yess’s vaudeville midget act’s endorsement is going to mean anything to anyone? Manu is never getting elected to anything ever again. Find some other way to get free health insurance.

Of course anyone who goes against Len and Terry are “pathetic losers” because if you don’t have anything intelligent to say you say that! We do share the same logic in one respect – perhaps Troy Dunn might run if only to make sure Manuela doesn’t win, but the same can be said for a Democrat running to make sure Terry doesn’t win! Oh, politics is so fun.
I think Troy was sincere when he stated “lack of involvement and no knowledge of town’s issues”. If he is serious about politics, he should start at the Town level and get involved. I would hope that he would not disgrace his father’s legacy and memory by working a dirty with the dirty Bernardos. Terry has had her chance to prove herself , to make a difference and has failed miserably. Enough backroom deals already !
Don’t kid yourself. Troy knows lots about Town issues. Like how to build an airplane hanger and call it a barn to skirt zoning.
Dunn is DONE before he even starts. Sadly enough he was not willing to just be a country boy and listen to his MAMA. Instead, he headed for power–and finds himself dirty before his time. His need to climb the ladder and be just like Daddy ain’t working–Daddy had the entire pie, did not share while Boy Troy’s name will be used thinking it will attract votes. Not happening! He’s playing with David–and what’s with his school board connection other than wife’s job?
I believe that Troy Dunn would never get involved in Bernardo’s deals. He is a man with morals and values. He has my vote!

We really don’t know where Troy Dunn stands but it looks like he may be standing with David O’Halloran which isn’t any better than Len Bernardo. David was instrumental in creating the huge mess we have with Bernardos.
Any potential candidate that associates themselves with either parties are done before they even get out of the gate. All the Dems need to do is have a warm body and its a done deal.
I’m curious to see what Chipman does. His MO has always been to cross party lines, I cannot imagine that the Dems are willing to put their hands into this inferno.
If Troy Dunn wheels and deals with David, he is no better than a Bernardo.
Troy Boy got in with the wrong crowd–he’s a bully too., If you sleep with dogs you get fleas. Davie and Lenny bully and look for weak people who are followers.
I hope good candidates are not enticed to join Bernardo or OHalloran to play in their sand boxes – trust me, it’s not sand….. It’s litter and they are both filled with feces.
