As reported by the Liberty Coalition blog:
- The Town of Rochester Republican Committee held a meeting earlier this evening to select a candidate to run for the District 21 Ulster County Legislature seat. The votes came in with 434 for John Dawson, challenger, and 202 for Terry Bernardo, incumbent and Chairwoman of the Ulster County Legislature. Manuela Michailescu, a previously declared candidate, apparently did not pursue the nomination and also abstained from voting as a Committee Member (she holds 108 weighted votes).
The real winner is David O’Halloran, the Bosshole of Rochester. He successfully sent a message to Terry Bernardo: no VLTs, no nomination. Attaboy! Manuela Michailescu was so disgusted with the O’Shenanigans that she refused to play the game. Meanwhile, John Dawson – the lucky winner – is looking forward to David O’Halloran organizing his next fundraising birthday party.

Manuela continues to remain true to who she is and the people continue to suffer!!!
Who is surprised ? not me.
The Democrats shall win this district. Terry B, on the IDNY and Con line, Dawson or Manuela on the Rep line equals a split vote. Any Democrat who does not have a criminal record could win. Come to think of it, even if they have a misdemeanor record, they could win. Bernardo will prove to be the most selfish politician we have seen in a long, long time.
she has already proven that!
Its too bad Manuela didn’t run. Ulster County needs good people.
Thank you for your kind words. Please see the update to my open letter posted on my blog.
