Between visits to her taxidermist, Terry Bernardo found the time to lodge a complaint against me, claiming that I hacked her computer. Apparently she is unable to grasp the idea that I hack brains, not computers.
So, this afternoon I had an intelligent conversation with two real gentlemen, Gaetano Buttari and Scott Vollano, both investigators with New York State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
True to herself, Terry Bernardo, the Chairwoman of Ulster County Legislature – after shamelessly wasting taxpayers’ money – moved on to wasting State Police’s time.
And I would like to know the answer to this question: did she lodge a written complaint as any other citizen would do, or she just used her phone – abusing the power of the office she holds?

Yes, I did post emails between Terry Bernardo and her computer guy. No, I did not hack their computers. How do you know that neither party forwarded them to me? I know that’s easier to believe rumors, but try to think out of the box. I’m glad too to see New York State Police is interested in computer hacking. ‘Splaining’ was done, how else would I post the happening on my blog. Thanks for reading, thanks for writing, sorry to disappoint you by not doing anything illegal ever. And I’m 68 years old.
Why would Terry Bernardo or her computer guy (investigating your supposed hacking) forward emails to you then report your use of them to the State Police? Not at all likely. I hope you had a better explanation than that for the investigating officers or they may be back with a warrant. Seems like you’re using semantics. Maybe not hacking but otherwise pilfering the emails by way of wireless eavesdropping, perhaps? That isn’t legal, is it?
I asked “How do you know that neither party forwarded them to me?” and you ask me to hack their brains in order to identify their/his/her motivation. I said “No, I did not hack their computers.” After suggesting that I hid behind semantics, you offer “pilfering the emails by way of wireless eavesdropping, perhaps?” You totally ignore my “sorry to disappoint you by not doing anything illegal ever.”
I promise you a post with all the explanations you crave. Promise me to comment on that one too.
This shows how stupid and incompetent Terry is and her followers don’t seem any smarter. Everyone is a criminal except Terry. I am sure Terry just ruined her credibility with law enforcement. People really need to wake up and smell the coffee.
No arrest, no press release, no drama. Just Terry crying wolf. After last nights pinegrove meeting, I guess she should have been worried about David and Dawson, not Jon.
