Listening to Supervisor Carl Chipman – while attending some of the latest Town Board meetings – I saw the need for a Chipman-Chipman Dictionary. Let’s illustrate the concept…

What Carl Chipman said:
It was brought to my attention that one of the four applications for the vacant seat on the Town Board arrived after the deadline set in the legal notice.

What Carl Chipman meant:
Freaking Jon FOIL-ed the applications, published them on his blog, caught the one sent to me by email AFTER the deadline. Now we must invalidate that application and cancel the illegal Special Town Board Meeting scheduled just for interviewing the applicant who didn’t give a rat’s tail about respecting the deadline. Thanks a bunch, Jon!

PLEASE NOTE:
None of the Town Board members had a problem with accepting an illegal application before I made it public in my post Shhh!… Everybody knows….

What Carl Chipman said:
There is this rumor about black mold at the Town Hall. Let me be clear, there is no black mold at the Town Hall. True, in the Assesor’s Office there is black mold, but only in two cabinets… An environmental expert was retained… More ventilation is needed… Floor tiles must be removed to address the presence of the mold underneath…

What Carl Chipman meant:
Freaking Jon blew the whistle on the black mold problem the Town’s employees complained about for a long time. I didn’t want the other Town Board members to know about it, and I didn’t want to hire an environmental expert to assess the situation. Now I had to do it… Thanks a bunch, Jon!

PLEASE NOTE:
Funny how – within two weeks from my publishing Black mold at the Rochester Town Hall? – this very serious issue was finally addressed.

I could see how our town is made a better place when Carl Chipman reads this blog.
