Carl “Flip-Flop” Chipman

Dump Carl Chipman

Looking at this 2013 official photo is hard to square it with the headline on MidHudson.com:

Chipman supports VLTs for Hudson Valley Resort, Pinegrove, but not Nevele

What happened? No more free wonderful food? No more free music? No more free fabulous people? May be, but being an election year is more like it.

Dump Carl Chipman

Freeman posted the article from MidHudson.com, with a modified headline:

Rochester supervisor supports VLTs for Hudson Valley Resort, Pinegrove, but not Nevele

It made sense, as not many people outside our town have any idea who Chipman is.

I quote from the article:

Rochester Town Supervisor Carl Chipman said he supports VLTs for both Hudson Valley Resort and Pinegrove Resort, but not at the Nevele, which he said would install 1,000 machines.

“What we want to do at our resorts is make it an amenity for guests, not to be a casino, not to bring in the local people, but to bring people into the area and to make it part of their resort experience,” Chipman said.

Minutes later, Freeman edited the post and gave it a new, improved headline:

Dump Carl Chipman

Rochester Supervisor Carl Chipman supports VLTs for the Hudson Valley and Pinegrove resorts but does not want them at the former Nevele resort in Wawarsing. In February, the Nevele unveiled a plan that calls for 750 video lottery terminals, four full-size baseball fields and eight regulation fields for soccer, field hockey and lacrosse. The intent is to make the resort a destination sports site in the New York metropolitan area.

“What we want to do at our resorts [in Rochester] is make [VLTs] an amenity for guests, not to be a casino — not to bring in the local people, but to bring people into the area and to make it part of their resort experience,” Chipman said.

After reading all three versions of the article, I asked myself a few questions:

Who gives a damn about Chipman supporting VLTs?

Does anyone believe that his memorial resolution on the topic would sway Albany?

Why 25% of Chipman’s statements are lies?
Supervisor Chipman states that the Nevele “would install 1,000 machines.” Freeman corrected the whopper: “the Nevele unveiled a plan that calls for 750 video lottery terminals.”

What exactly does he mean by “what we want to do at our resorts?”
Our resorts? Again, he speaks in the name of the townfolks, without their agreement, as he did on March 14, 2013 when the Town Board passed – without a previous public discussion, without the issue being on the agenda – Resolution # 56-2013:

BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Rochester Town Board hereby supports placement of Video Lottery Terminals at the Hudson Valley Resort and the Pine Grove Dude Ranch and asks that the State of New York authorizes such placement at both of these resorts located in the Town of Rochester.

For the record, I don’t care who gets the VLTs, I’m just concerned about the way Supervisor Chipman acts… “for the good of the town,” of course!

Dump Carl Chipman

Look above. How many times is Chipman going to claim he didn’t say what he said? How many times is he going to blame the reporters for accurately quoting him?

Remember his idea about a landfill in the Town of Rochester? He was soooo pissed off… the Freeman reporter got it wrong, the people got it wrong, his “explicative” letter was not published…

Is Carl Chipman unable or unwilling to clearly communicate an idea? Not that any answer works in his favor.

I know how well Chipman can express himself. Before being Supervisor, when – for example – he asked for the resignation of Tony Spano (now his Deputy Supervisor), the words were clear and forceful, and he never had to explain that what he said was not “exactly” what he wanted to say.

Now, I believe that Supervisor Chipman is unwilling to communicate clearly because he wants to leave room for U-turns.

Read his comment again: “I did not support the Nevele… “I supported the Nevele…”

For eight years Carl Chipman displayed symptoms of a sickness more commonly associated with politicians, never with leaders. The symptoms get stronger during the years when he is desperate to get re-elected, and I can only hope this book would help him:

How a Romanian hacker exposed Hillary’s secret email

Dump Hillary Clinton

While the Hillary Clinton email fiasco is sure to be the talk of the town for the next few days, weeks, and months and may have seriously jeopardized the former SecState’s chances at becoming America’s next president, an even more important story is how the revelation that Hillary exclusively used a private, unencrypted and unsupervised email for 4 years of state-level, official business communications, emerged in the first place.

The answer, shockingly, comes courtesy of a Romanian hacker who was known by the handle “Guccifer”, and who is currently serving time in a Bucharest prison for his online attacks against countless public figures including the infamous leaks of George W. Bush personal paintings.

How is it possible that a Romanian convict may have helped accelerate the downfall of Warren Buffett’s presidential hopeful? According to the Smoking Gun, which first reported on this topic back in March 2013, “Guccifer” illegally accessed the AOL e-mail account of Sidney Blumenthal, who then worked as a senior White House adviser to President Bill Clinton, and later became a senior adviser to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.

When “Guccifer” (who was later identified as Marcel Lazar Lehel) breached Blumenthal’s account, he discovered an assortment of correspondence sent to Hillary Clinton at the e-mail address hdr22@clintonemail.com. The “clintonemail.com” domain was registered in 2009, shortly after her nomination to become Secretary of State.

While Blumenthal, a longtime Hillary Clinton confidant, used her private e-mail to send personal messages (like a get well note after she fell at home and suffered a concussion in December 2012), he also forwarded the Cabinet member a series of “Confidential” memos about foreign policy matters.

A snapshot of one leaked email between Blumenthal and Clinton can be seen below:

Dump Hillary Clinton

If Clinton used her own account only emails like the one above, it would be perfectly ok. It wasn’t.

Using her personal clintonemail.com address, the “For: Hillary, From: Sid” memos, provided to TSG by “Guccifer,” address a wide range of topics in global flashpoints like Algeria, Turkey, Mali, and Libya. Blumenthal also provided Clinton with information about the European Central Bank, the Georgia elections, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Here is a snapshot of the inbox:

Dump Hillary Clinton

All of this happened through a personal email account, using a small Jacksonville, FL shell registrar called Perfect Privacy LLC, which is owned by web.com.

A registrar in whose possessions one can now, or could at one point in the past, find “confidential” memos such as this one from January 15, 2013 on “Libya internal government discussion,” which relied on “Sources with direct access to the Libyan National Government.”

Dump Hillary Clinton

Among the other memos to Clinton can be found titles like “Comprehensive Intel Report on Libya,” and included all-cap warnings that, “THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION COMES FROM EXTREMELY SENSITIVE SOURCES AND SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH CARE.”

Each memo included a note on the sources of intelligence included in the document. One typical memo referred to “Sources with access to the highest levels of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, the leadership of the Armed Forces, and Western Intelligence, diplomatic, and security services.”

The Smoking Gun adds that the memos offer no indication as to whether the intelligence gathered by Blumenthal was done at Clinton’s suggestion. Likewise, the hacked material does not include evidence of Clinton’s response to Blumenthal’s memos (which appear to have been prepared with input from Tyler Drumheller, a former Central Intelligence Agency official who ran covert operations in Europe).

As a reminder, this is just one hacked account – one which was corresponding with Hillary Clinton – and shows just the emails that were sent or received by Sidney Blumenthal. However, it provides a broad enough glimpse of the kind of information that Hillary was trafficking in without any US government supervision or tracking.

It also means to keep a close eye on Clintonemail.com registrar status, which is the server where one can find any and all of the tens of thousands of emails that the former first lady sent and received between 2009 and 2013 in her personal account: an account which was created on January 28, 2009 and is scheduled for expiration on January 13, 2017… unless, of course, something “IRSy” were to happen to it in the meantime, and all existing emails and backups are mysteriously lost.

Dump Hillary Clinton

But most of all, keep a close eye on this email address:
Dump Hillary Clinton
It will be topic of countless hours of discussion as America heads into the next presidential elections. Especially since as of this moment, it appears to be disconnected.

Happy Birthday, Carlito!

Dump Carl Chipman

This candid photo was taken about ten years ago, in our house. Carl Chipman was calling me “Papa” and Manuela “Mama.” We were talking about his running for a Town Board seat. In my stupidity, I thought Carl Chipman was a decent human being. Since then, he proved to be just a political animal.

But, let bygones be bygones… Today is Carl Chipman’s last birthday as Town of Rochester Supervisor, so here it comes:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CARLITO!

And, Carlito, you know I am poor. So, instead of going in debt to buy you a gift, I spent some time preparing for you this handy map, showing the location of every eat-all-you-can facility in Ulster County. Enjoy it!

Another bald-faced lie from Carl Chipman

Dump Carl Chipman

In Slow down, Chipman! posted on November 24, 2014, I wrote about a ten days notice given by the Rochester CEO to IndyMac Bank, directing it to comply with the Unsafe Building Law and repair or remove the old barn on Route 209 “which is considered generally unsafe.”

I also wrote: “Ten days notice to IndyMac Bank that failed in 2008? Cute…”

On December 4, 2014, attending the Town Board meeting, I heard Supervisor Carl Chipman telling this lie:

The HPC has concerns with the brick house and the Old Dutch Barn located on Route 209. Once the barn was condemned the CEO contacted INDY MAC bank and they are planning to meet with the CEO to save this historic barn. Another step in the right direction.

See for yourself in the meeting’s minutes:

Dump Carl Chipman

The CEO contacted INDY MAC bank? They are planning to meet with the CEO to save this historic barn? Really Chipman? Really? Because…

…IndyMac was an American bank based in California that failed in 2008 and was seized by the United States Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

Before its failure, IndyMac Bank was the largest savings and loan association in the Los Angeles area and the seventh largest mortgage originator in the United States. The failure of IndyMac Bank on July 11, 2008, was the fourth largest bank failure in United States, and the second largest failure of a regulated thrift at that time.

In March 2009 the FDIC put the assets – $32.01 billion at time of seizure – up for auction and the bulk of the business was sold to IMB HoldCo LLC who turned this into OneWest Bank.

The FDIC kept some of the assets and liabilities that it could not sell in a holding entity known as IndyMac Federal Bank, which would be slowly wound down.

On July 22, 2014 it was announced that CIT Group would be acquiring OneWest Bank for $3.4 billion. After the acquisition closed, it was reported that the bank would be merged with CIT’s commercial banking subsidiary and be called CIT Bank.

Carl Chipman, I’m calling you a liar. Prove me wrong! Tell us the name of the person at IndyMac who agreed to meet with our town’s CEO, and the phone number at which we can call for confirmation. Otherwise, you just took another step in the wrong direction.

Oops! I forgot, this is an election year… Sorry!

Now and then, a gem of a comment pops up on this blog. Now, as a case in point, let’s look at this one:

Dump Carl Chipman

Just by looking at the signature – Smarter Than Jon Ever Was – you can tell the guy is a dreaming simpleton. After throwing a few insults, he states the obvious: There is an IndyMac Mortgage Services.

Anyone typing “IndyMac” in Google can see that:

Dump Carl Chipman

I’m sure that taking some Remedial Reading would solve Smarter Than Jon Ever Was’ problems. I didn’t write a thing about IndyMac Mortgage Services. What I wrote was: IndyMac Bank failed on July 11, 2008.

If anybody believes that IndyMac Mortgage Services is IndyMac Bank’s heir… hey! it’s a free country! And here is free food for thought: if you type “Carl Chipman” on Zaba, you’ll get 34 Carl Chipmans, but not all of them are spreading bullshit in the Town of Rochester.

I know, I know, I will be castigated again for wasting my time on people lacking the balls to sign their comments, hiding behind email addresses with a 10 minutes shelf life:

Still, the winner of the Terry Award is Carl Chipman…

Dump Carl Chipman

Carl Chipman won the 2014 Terry Award, no two ways about it.

Oops! I spoke too soon. There’s two ways about it… The doctored poll results you see above, and the true poll results you see below.

Around 7:30 last Friday evening, with more than 50% of the votes going his way, the Town of Rochester Supervisor Carl Chipman was on top of the leaderboard. Town of Wawarsing Supervisor Leonard Distel was at the bottom, with no votes at all.

A few minutes later – during which 41 votes were cast for him – Mr. Distel jumped to the top position. No way in hell so many people converged to vote for Mr. Distel in such a short span of time. Statistically impossible.

But there is an explanation: someone found a way to overcome my one-person-one-vote poll setting, and tried to change the outcome. In other words, somebody didn’t like the fact that Chipman was winning the title of “most malignant politician.”

We nullified the 41 fraudulent votes cast for Mr. Distel, and here are the true results in the 2014 Terry Award:

A question arises: if someone tries to fraudulently change the outcome of a mickey mouse poll, what is that person capable of doing in a real life situation like – let’s say – the 2015 elections?

Food for thought…

Dump Carl Chipman

Let’s see… George Washington served 8 years (1789 – 1797)… Abraham Lincoln served 4 years (1861 – 1865)… Theodore Roosevelt served 8 years (1901 – 1909)… Harry S. Truman served 8 years (1945 – 1953)… Ronald Reagan served 8 years (1981 – 1989)…

2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015… Do you know of any reason why Town of Rochester Supervisor Carl Chipman should spend more than 8 years in office?

If you do, please share.

For the record…

Attorney General Eric Holder is the recipient of this letter from retired FBI Special Agent K. Dee McCown:

::

K. Dee McCown
College Station, Texas
December 28, 2014
Attorney General Eric Holder
U.S. Department of Justice
950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20530-0001

Dear Attorney General Holder,

It is unlikely that we met while I served in the FBI. That being said, we served at the Department of Justice (DOJ) during the same years and on the same “team” conceptually speaking. During my service in the FBI I worked with a number of U.S. Attorney Offices in the United States to include a tour at FBIHQ where I worked with the Department of Justice (Main) on a daily basis.

I begin my letter with this comment to highlight that I am not a bystander on the topic of law enforcement in the United States. I worked and managed a variety of federal investigations during my 12 years of service in the FBI, to include the management of several Civil Rights cases in the State of Texas. In fact, during my last tour in the Bureau, I was an FBI Supervisor responsible for managing federal investigations in nine (9) Texas counties, many of which were rural; in places where one would suspect racism to flourish given the narrative often pushed by Hollywood and urban progressive elites like yourself. I performed this mission diligently and under the close supervision of two FBI managers; an Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) and Special Agent in Charge (SAC,) both of which happened to be African American and outstanding law enforcement professionals. I also performed this mission serving side by side with a variety of law enforcement agencies at the Federal, State and local level.

I have observed you closely during your tenure as Attorney General and notably during these last tumultuous years; watching you negotiate a number of controversial public matters to include the ATF Fast and Furious scandal, Black Panther Party intimidation at voting booths, IRS targeting of American citizens (citizen groups opposed to the Obama Administration,) the ignoring of US Immigration laws, DOJ criminal indictments of select news reporters and your management of several high profile criminal investigations involving subjects of race, notably African Americans.

Until today, I chose to hold my tongue. However, with the assassination of two NYPD Lieutenants last weekend in New York City, at the hands of a African American man with a lengthy criminal record, fresh from his participation in anti-police activities; coupled with numerous “don’t shoot, hands up,” and “black lives matter” anti-police protests (some of which are violent) occurring daily around the nation, I am compelled to write you this letter.

To be blunt Mr. Holder, I am appalled at your lack of leadership as the Attorney General of the United States and your blatant politicizing of the Department of Justice. Your actions, both publicly and privately, have done nothing to quell the complex racial issues we face in our country and have done everything to inflame them. As the “top cop” of the United States, you share in the blame for much of the violence and protests we are now witnessing against law enforcement officers honorably serving throughout our nation.

During one of your first public speeches as Attorney General you made it a point to call America “a nation of cowards” concerning race relations. That speech, followed by other public announcements where you emphatically opined that the odds were stacked against African Americans in regard to the enforcement of law, your intention to change the law and permit convicted felons to vote after incarceration, and your changes to federal law ending “racial profiling,” are poignant examples of how detached you remain from the challenges faced by law enforcement officers serving in crime ridden neighborhoods throughout the nation.

These opinions are also indicative of a man that lives and works in the elitist “bubble” of Washington D.C.

Your performance, as the nation’s Attorney General, during the Trayvon Martin case in Sanford, Florida and the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, Missouri clearly highlights your myopic view on this topic. Contrary to your embarrassing prejudgment in the Brown case and evasive post trial remarks on the Martin case, neither Brown nor Martin were targeted and/or killed because of their African American race.

Rather, as non-emotive investigations determined, both teens died as a consequence of their own tragic and egregious behavior; behavior that involved a violent assault on a law abiding citizen in the Trayvon Martin case, and a violent assault on a young police officer in the Michael Brown case. Yet you, as the number one spokesman for law enforcement in the country, blame the deaths of these men on years of institutional racism and the alleged epidemic targeting of African American men by police departments around the country; nothing could be further from the truth. Following the Michael Brown case Grand Jury decision all you could muster was the following comment: “The Department of Justice is currently investigating not only the shooting but also the Ferguson police department in what is called a “patterns and practices” inquiry to determine if the police department has engaged in systematic racism.”

So, let’s get this straight. At a decisive moment in history when our nation required a strong and unbiased voice from its’ senior law enforcement official, you Mr. Holder, made it your personal mission to join with other racial antagonist and politicize a tragic event, accusing a young white police officer of a racially motivated killing in what we now know was a justified self-defense shooting of a predatory felon. Your behavior is unbelievable. You sir, have sacrificed your integrity on the altar of political expediency. You, Mr. Holder, are the “coward” and hypocrite you so loudly denounce when speaking of broken race relations in America.

Further to this point Mr. Holder, law enforcement officers around the country remain dismayed and shocked at the counsel you keep; that being your close relationship with none other than Al Sharpton, a racist “shake down artist” who spreads hate, divisiveness and the promotion of anti-law enforcement sentiment throughout the country; a tax evading fraudster who has unbelievably visited the White House over 80 times in recent years. It is simply beyond my comprehension as a former federal law enforcement professional, that you, the Attorney General of the United States, joined arms in common cause with a charlatan like “the Reverend” Al Sharpton; and it speaks volumes to your personal character and lack of professional judgment.

Violent crime, out of wedlock births, drug abuse, rampant unemployment and poverty found in many low-income minority neighborhoods are not a result of racist community policing and racial profiling as you so quickly assert, and frankly most law abiding Americans are exhausted of hearing this false narrative repeated time and again by you and others in the racial grievance industry. While no one, me included, would ever suggest that African Americans have not suffered from institutional racism in the past, I would strongly argue that we no longer live in the Mississippi of 1965, nor do we live in a country that even closely resembles the “Jim Crow” South of yesteryear. Those days, thankfully, are in the past as are the generations of Americans that supported such egregious behavior and endured such suffering.

Rather, Mr. Holder, we live in a day and time where the root cause of many problems faced in our African American communities can be attributed to the breakdown of civil order due to the rejection of institutional and family authority and the practice of counter-culture values; and most notably, from the absence of strong male leadership in fatherless black families. The reason that our local police officers are so often entwined in tragic events in black communities is because it is the police that have filled the void in these communities that should be occupied by moral and strong black men leading family units with Godly values. You, Mr. Holder, especially, should be thanking the police rather than persecuting them for the gap they fill in these communities because if it were not for the intervention of local police many African American neighborhoods would be in a state of total anarchy.

Yet tragically, you and your race-baiting colleague Al Sharpton (a paid media personality under contract with MSNBC news) choose to remain silent because to publicly speak this self-evident truth threatens to not only alienate and offend the most loyal voting constituency of the Democratic Party but diminish your and Al Sharpton’s self-serving power base in these suffering communities. God forbid that you would suggest individual citizens accept responsibility for their own behavior and the collective failure of their communities; it is so much easier for you and others like you to make excuses, play the victim card, and pander rather than address the real root causes that plague many low income neighborhoods.

Mr. Holder, the public is aware of FBI statistics that tell a different story than the one you and Sharpton preach. We know that young African American males, representing a tiny fraction of the U.S. population, are by far the greatest perpetrators of violent crime in America when compared to their peers in other ethnic groups, and, we know that citizens of African American descent overwhelmingly make up the majority of their victims. We also know that incidents where white police officers shoot and kill black perpetrators are rare and on the decline. We know further that although there are legitimate and bona fide Federal Civil Rights investigations in the United States worthy of pursuing, they are miniscule when compared to the false narrative portrayed by you, President Obama and Sharpton declaring rampant discrimination against African American men by police officers throughout the country. You are just plain wrong.

In closing Mr. Holder I will leave you with this thought; you were given a rare opportunity to lead with integrity during a variety of divisive and controversial issues during your tenure as the 82d Attorney General of the United States and rather than be a man of moral courage you chose instead to cower, further inflame racial tensions, advance false narratives and play progressive political activist.

Time and again you chose to “politicize” the mission of the Department of Justice rather than pursue justice and now, tragically, we are witnessing the fruits of your irresponsible behavior in the murder of two innocent police officers in New York City, assassinated by a man motivated by the flames of racial hatred that you personally fanned. How many more police officers will be injured or die in the coming days because of the perilous conditions you helped create in this nation. You, President Obama and Al Sharpton own this problem lock, stock and barrel and now it is your legacy.

As thousands of NYPD officers turn their collective back on New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, another dishonest politician and Sharpton disciple, so too do countless Federal law enforcement officers turn our backs on you.
