This is a very small sampler of David O’Halloran’s contradictory statements, most of them made less than a week apart:

SIDE 1:
“Terry Bernardo is a small business owner and will take good care of taxpayer dollars. She is responsible and capable and has earned our support.”
SIDE 2:
“Len & Terry are despicable people without convictions, ethics or any sense of integrity.”

SIDE 1:
“Please accept my resignation as Vice Chair to the Ulster County Republican Committee effective April 8, 2013… I will not be influenced or lead by political leaders outside of Ulster County nor minority party leaders within Ulster County.”
SIDE 2:
“I stepped down because I was told that several members of the Legislature, including Chairwoman Terry Bernardo, said they would abstain from voting on the VLT issue to avoid any appearance of impropriety.”

SIDE 1:
Manuela is a good candidate, a person willing to serve the Town or County. As a committee member, I will encourage others to focus on her tremendous devotion to Rochester and those that live here.
SIDE 2:
I’m on the committee and the only reason I know Manuela’s running: to beat Terry.

SIDE 1:
You are all welcome to critique my chairmanship of the Rochester GOP Committee but it is hard to argue with our committee results. Currently we have 3 candidates for District 21…
SIDE 2:
Do I care who wins or loses. NO! Truth, I would rather vote for none. Terry is nuts, Manuela is vengeful, John is unknown. Anyone of them good for Rochester? Doubtful. Hopefully a better candidate will emerge.

SIDE 1:
I started to look for your newspaper facts but your site makes me sick. One man, harboring such ill will towards others is just horrible.
SIDE 2:
My shame, I allowed Bernardos’ reign to grow because personal pride: having previously invested vast political capital in Len, I was too concerned of my political status. So no problem with your negative Blog posts, they are well deserved…post away.

And God forbid I print Tim Bunch’s name – “that would completely scare him away.” Trouble is, I printed Tim Bunch’s name on March 17 and David is giving me his useless advice on April 28 – but that’s trivial. A man of his interest if not principles, O’Halloran goes to bat for Pure-Luck-Dawson the Unknown. Really Dave? Really? Oh, I forgot, you are going to resign…

If you could focus on the task at hand, there will be 1 1/2 years between elections to inform folks that I’m a horrible person. A few suggestions, lets try to weekend Terry’s base on the committee. Who does she have as of now: Imre, John C., Val P.

Imre – any suggestion on outing a connection between the Bernardo’s? Does he support Bernardo as a reaction to his feeling towards you? Or is there something else?

John C. – dirty him for the last deal with Bernardo’s – I line? His change of district to manipulate the vote? Lives in 10 moved to 12 on committee?

Val P. no idea what their connection is? Does he own home, rental in flood buy out?

Then there is always Terry – Len, len got Blaber job with Mayor, did Gallo get I-Line? Terry’s appointments – out of county, non- republican, etc.

Or you could tell people about my last parking ticket. You will not pressure me to change my vote, good news…neither will Len. Neither of you like it and each have their own way of acting out. I no longer care about the personal or political attacks Len & you do to influence votes. Get over it and control your emotions, at least until 5/29.

I’m sorry that you have such deep seated hatred toward me and others, I would not wish that on anyone. I do not like a few people, Bernardo’s being among them, but never would I lower myself to such depths. I know you will take this the wrong way, but if you ever want help to view life in a more positive light, just ask. In a phone conversation David and I had this afternoon, he cheerfully agreed with me that bullshit is his modus operandi. Don’t believe me? Call David, ask him.

Here is my deal with O’Halloran: he provides the bullshit, I point it out as a public service.
So, in one of his comments on this blog…

Bullshit. David refers to Barbara Zaccai. Barbara and I had a little issue related to my designing the Veterans Park. Among the members of the Historic Preservation Commission, two were extremely intent on messing with my HPC-approved design: William Collier and Barbara Zaccai.

William Collier is the guy who told Carl Chipman to stay away from me and Manuela because we are pornographers. Don’t believe me? Call Carl, ask him. William Collier is the guy who tried to block every step towards finishing the Veterans Park. On the other hand, William Collier is the guy who arranged for the gift of stones used to build the park. William Collier was not fighting against the Veterans Park. He was fighting against me. Funny note: I witnessed Terry Bernardo kissing William Collier’s hand. Apparently they know each other.

Barbara Zaccai is a very strong woman and I like her a lot. I have helped her to run against Terry Bernardo for New York State Republican Committee (107th Assembly District). I thought Barbara Zaccai was a friend of mine, and she gave me numerous reasons to believe that. Out of the blue, Barbara Zaccai started to compete with William Collier in blocking my effort to finish the Veterans Park without straying from the approved design. Barbara Zaccai went out and ordered the flagpole for the Veterans Park without consulting with me about the size. Somebody she knew had the same size flagpole for 27 years and it worked just fine. So much for proportions in design. Manuela, the Town Board liaison to the HPC asked Barbara why she did it. Barbara Zaccai’s answer called for Councilwoman Lynn Archer’s mediation skills. Funny note: during the only lunch we had together, Barbara Zaccai said “you should see Terry Bernardo’s iPad… I played with it for 20 minutes…” Don’t believe me? Tough! The only other witness passed away.

Bullshit. Tom Ryan is not a left over from Maryjane’s reign. Here are the ten committee members before O’Halloran took over: Knudsen, Schoonmaker, Hudson, Santosky, Tapper, Kortright, Levin, DeJager, Beke, Callan.

Bullshit. Manuela had the required signatures on her petition as O’Halloran and Bernardo had the required signatures on their petitions. How come O’Halloran appointed Manuela while Bernardo “joined via petition process?” It’s true that O’Halloran and Terry Bernardo tried to nullify Manuela’s petition thru the challenge brought by Beke the Tool, but that’s another story.

Bullshit. Barbara Zaccai submitted her resignation at David’s request, on April 15, 2013 – after not showing up at a committee meeting in two years. Don’t believe me. Ask David to show you her resignation.

A few weeks after Manuela Michailescu announced her 2009 candidacy for Ulster County Legislature, she received a phone call from David O’Halloran: “Give up, or your financial situation will be made public.” He forgot to mention that – betraying my confidence – he was the one who told Bernardo that we filed for bankruptcy. Isn’t Dave a gentleman?

There is no doubt about Terry and Len Bernardo being behind the 2009 smear campaign against Manuela. See what Robin Vaccai – the former Chair of Ulster GOP – wrote:

When some TripAdvisor unflattering reviews of Pinegrove – O’Halloran’s business – appeared on the same blog and disappeared shortly after, I asked David how he did it. I called Blaber, he said. Could you please give me his phone number, I asked. Let’s see… Here is Jon, who spent a few thousands hours working on the Republican Club website, and Manuela, a Republican Councilwoman. And here is Blaber of Working Families paid by Bernardo of Independence Party. The choice was easy: No, O’Halloran said, I can’t give you Blaber’s number without his permission. Isn’t Dave a gentleman?

David O’Halloran and twenty people from Rochester attended the 2009 Ulster County Republican Committee Annual Dinner. While all were seated in the main room, Councilwoman Manuela Michailescu – the only Rochester Republican elected official attending the event – was seated at table 37, in the “Siberia” room. Page 7 of the Tickets Table Assignment booklet (below) strongly suggests that Terry Bernardo was in charge of seating Manuela. O’Halloran was either a co-conspirator or he wasn’t bothered in the least by the intentional slight, disrespect, discrimination. Isn’t Dave a gentleman?

So far only Jeremy Blaber apologized to Manuela and me.

A few weeks ago I learned from David O’Halloran that Terry Bernardo and hubby went to FBI to accuse me of hacking. I have already touched the subject in my March 4, 2013 post,
Terry Bernardo, the early years, showing an email where one Gilbert deLeon was assuring Terry Bernardo that “We do have enough evidence though at this point for the state police cybercrime division to go forward.”

As you already figured out, Terry Bernardo and David O’Halloran share the same cyber-guru: Gilbert deLeon. No wonder Davey “knows” so much about Jon the Hacker being sought by FBI.

Lately, Bernardos & Co. started to spread new rumors: I stole identities and used stolen credit cards. David O’Halloran received recently an email in support of Terry Bernardo, which also detailed my “crimes.” O’Halloran replied to the sender, did not mention the ludicrous accusations, signed “Respectfully, David” and also copied me. Isn’t he a gentleman?

FACT #1
I registered the domain name RochesterRepublicans.com on September 16, 2003 – long before I heard of David O’Halloran. It is owned by Point Blank, Inc., my advertising agency. I used the domain name for the Republican campaign’s website in 2003 elections.

FACT #2
In 2005, when the Rochester Republican Club was brought back to life, I volunteered to design the Club’s website. I have never offered the domain name RochesterRepublicans.com.

FACT #3
For the following three years Leon Smith paid VERIO’s annual hosting fee of $300. The annual domain name registration fee was always paid by Point Blank, Inc., my company.

FACT #4
I never accepted a penny for my work related to the Rochester Republican Club’s website. The token payments David mentioned were made for my work on the print campaigns of 2005 and 2007 elections. FYI, when counted, the countless hours of time I gave to the Club are about 3,000. If it crosses O’Halloran’s mind to put a marketplace value on my time, he’ll be surprised to see who is the biggest political donor in town.

FACT #5
On Election night 2007 the Republicans celebrated the electoral victory at my place. Next morning or so, David openly became Boss Hogg, and I became openly vocal about it.

FACT #6
Sometime in 2008, O’Halloran offered to ease my burden, and asked to control the website. Disgusted with his shenanigans, I gave him the password and all necessary access information.

FACT #7
After about three months, seeing that not an iota was added to the website, I took away from O’Halloran the possibility of using my domain name. The Club was dead, and the idea of him and the Bernardos using my intellectual property was not appealing.

FACT #8
While having a beer with Shane Ricks, I shared stories from the beginning of the “internets,” mainly about the registering-domain-names rush. I told him how I sold the domain name webony.com to Muhammad Ali’s daughter, for $5,000. Lately, I heard from different people that I asked $5,000 for RochesterRepublicans.com. What a crock of bull!

FACT #9
Eventually, David O’Halloran got his own website, the New York States’ Top Republican Site. Everybody should visit it once, to see how many New York States David has in mind.

FACT #10
David O’Halloran lost his mind. There is no other explanation for this comment he left on this blog:

If my telling the truth and backing it with facts is motivated by what you’re saying, what exactly is your explanation for Hugh Reynolds calling you “the Boss Hogg of Rochester” in his article Of dogs and ponies?

For those of you who don’t know, Jefferson Davis Hogg is the extremely corrupt character who ran the town of Hazzard in the classic television show The Dukes Of Hazzard.

Let’s take a look at some of your comments:

Allow me to translate: “I am David O’Halloran, the chairman of the Rochester GOP, and I measure the success of my Committee by the number of candidates; look! I got three of them running for Legislature. You all know that Terry and Manuela did not need my encouragement, you all know that I tried to discourage Manuela from running, and I claim that I didn’t recruit Dawson.” What did the Committee do, again? Why did you think it’s hard to argue with its “success?”

Oh, yeah! That explains why Manuela was challenged both times she ran for a town committee seat.

Because you brought up the previous committee, you might want to know what people think is the big difference: while Marijane’s committee had the integrity to stand up to the Bernardo-Catalano dirty deals, you sold the Republican party to Bernardo, and look where we are now.

Yes David, you screwed that up… after I told you not to do it. Also, you apologized in private for what you did in public. Just saying… And the Rochester GOP inner circle quickly fell apart when I couldn’t take your back-stabbing any longer. Wanna see the scars?
